Understanding how educational technology can enhance student engagement is increasingly vital in higher education, and particularly so in Arts & Humanities, given the communicative nature of courses. A narrative systematic review was therefore conducted, synthesising a sub-sample of 42 peer-reviewed Arts & Humanities articles published between 2007-2016. Based on a forthcoming article in the Australasian Journal of Educational Technology, central results and implications for teaching and learning, as well as future research directions, will be discussed.
